Who is behind How We End?
Mitch: Diva Satanica (Vocals), Jake E (Vocals), Jen Majura (Guitar), Tom Naumann (Guitar), Mitch Kunz (Bass, Synths), Adde Larsson (Drums).

Forget about genres for a second – How We End’s music sounds like …?
Tom: The music of How We End has a groovy, modern metal vibe and also a hint of gothic, but also a heavy riffing touch. We don’t like to compare ourselves to other bands, as we definitely create fresh music given the different backgrounds and musical tastes of all the six band members.

Which sort of mood produces the best songs?
Tom: It depends on what kind of song you would like to write. A sad vibe is good for ballads or something depressed / destructive. Happy moods are for sunny and beach songs. I don’t think that How We End represents happy beach songs, though …
Mitch: It kind of depends, I’d say. When I enter my studio, which is designed like a little spaceship and I close the door, then I’m taking off to my own little world. Then I get in the right mood to have some ideas or continue to work on already existing songs.
Jen: I definitely write best when I am pissed lol …

Which person, artist or incident inspired you when you first started making music?
Jen: Steve Vai, Queen and all songs of AC/DC
Mitch: Judas Priest, Running Wild and Kiss
Tom: Beatles, Judas Priest and AC/DC

The fairy-godmother pops up in front of you and grants you a wish. What do you wish for?
Jen: World peace.
Tom: The end of injustice.

No alcohol is no solution either. What booze combination will definitely dissolve all your troubles and issues?
Jen: I am boring here. I quit drinking in 2021.
Mitch: Definitely some vodka red bull. I’d say during the third one it turns out if the evening means “go hard or go home”.

Who was the hero of your childhood?
Jen: Steve Vai – and he still is!
Mitch: Gene Simmons! Who else?
Tom: Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest) and Brad Gillis (Nightranger).

What is the most embarrassing/surprising record in your CD-shelf?
Jen: Mitch, I am sure this is a question for you. hahaha.
Mitch: Not embarrassing at all but maybe a little surprising to the metal community.  I really enjoy good hip hop music … for example Eminem as well as German stuff as well like Sido.

What’s next? Tour? Studio? Vacation? Something completely different?
Jen: Working on more Pinky and the brain things to conquer the world with HWE.
Mitch: There’s still a lot to do in the studio and supporting Jen on her Pinky and the brain things.
Tom: We are all on a mission for writing more songs and planning the future with HWE. We can’t wait to release our second and third.
