Who is behind Ocean Hills?
The guys in the band Ocean Hills either live by the ocean in Southern California, the Hollywood Hills or the hillside of Buda across from Pest in Hungary. We were trying to find names that represented the band and we came up with the idea that these are the places that are the most important and magical to all of us.

If you had to put your music into a drawer and print a label on it, what would it say?
“The best you could do musically.”

Which sort of mood produces the best songs?
When your back is against the wall and this is your last shot at making a good album … and you have to get it right.

Which instrument will surely NEVER be heard on a Ocean Hills-album?
Flute.

City and Colour, “If I should go before you”

The Fairy-Godmother pops up in front of you and grants you a wish. What do you wish for?
That humans would have one more generation on this earth … Then after that we would go extinct so that nature could take back the earth and make things right again.

No alcohol is no solution either. What booze combination will definitely dissolve all your troubles and issues?
I don´t drink anymore, but when I did it was always Jack Daniels and coke – with lots of ice.

Is someone will help you move or loan you money if needed.

Who was the hero of your childhood?
My grandmother, my mother and my father.

George Michael’s “Carless whispers“, first pressing, given to me as a funny gift.

What’s next? Tour? Studio? Vacation? Something completely different?
Try to survive Covid financially and somehow grow our fanbase and tour as soon as possible.
