Who is behind Symphony of Sweden?
Me and Evan are the founders and members of Symphony of Sweden. Evan came to my local parcel shop that I owned a few years ago. He just wanted to drop off and ship a keyboard. But me being nosy I started talking about music. And the rest is history when he heard I was a singer.

If you had to put your music into a drawer and print a label on it, what would it say?
Arena rock / hit music with attitude.

Forget about genres for a second – Symphony of Sweden’s music sounds like …?
Ohh. A mixture of heavy guitars, big drums, awesome mixing and producing. Big choirs, a mix of soft vocals and powerful vocals. Put that together and ad some Swedish charm then you have Symphony of Sweden.

Which sort of mood produces the best songs?
Depends. Sometimes I get a lot of melodies in my head when I’m happy and my life is good. But I think the best lyrics come when you are a bit down. Not depressed but like a little low, you know. Everything is about balance.

Which instrument will surely NEVER be heard on a Symphony Of Sweden-album?
Haha I can’t say. Me personally I don’t know. We are always looking for something new. And then you have Evan who can compose anything and he may already uses an instrument that I had no idea that will be in a song. So to be continued!

Which record would you want to listen to when you leave the bathroom in the morning, while the last night’s hottest and/or lovely company from is still in your bed?
„Bitch get out of the way”. Haha no. I think „Show must go on“ by Queen. I leave it at that.

The Fairy-Godmother pops up in front of you and grants you a wish. What do you wish for?
Me personally: Never having vocal problems again. It’s a full time job keeping the vocals in good shape. I always have to think about it and keep it safe.

No alcohol is no solution either. What booze combination will definitely dissolve all your troubles and issues?
Macallan whisky. I’m a big fan.

What shows you that someone is a true friend?
Someone who is there when you need them. And keeps it to themselves what you say to them.

Who was the hero of your childhood?
My mother and my father. Big heroes in my book.

What is the most embarrassing/surprising record on your CD-shelf?
Haha. I’m really not embarrassed of what I’m listening to. I enjoy everything if it’s well made. But I do have some unexpected I think among all my music. It’s probably some Swedish artist that you guys never have heard of. I’ll come back to you with that one!

What’s next? Tour? Studio? Vacation? Something completely different?
We will release our second album on the 3rd of February! We will take it from that!

Thanks for letting us tell something about ourselves!
