Amazing Grave²
Das Duo Amazing Grave ist in Los Angeles und Vancouver beheimatet und besteht aus Kevvy Maher, auch Sänger bei Fake Shark, und Eric Breitenbach, der auch noch Drums bei Limblifter spielt. „Dog chained to dog” ist ihre erste Single, die nun bei Eric’s Cool Records erschienen ist. Zitat aus dem Pressetext: „The two-piece describe themselves as heavy metal with the goal of not being heavy in the traditional metal sense. The duo says they would rather be “heavy in groove, beats, screams and sarcasm.“
Das hat mich neugierig gemacht, und das Resultat ist eine schräge und experimentelle Mischung aus Noise, Trance und Metal. Bei mir weckt es auch ein wenig Erinnerungen an Nine Inch Nails, also einfach mal reinhören.
