Who is behind Haiduk?
Luka Milojica: everything.

If you had to put your music into a drawer and print a label on it, what would it say?
Evil music.

Forget about genres for a second – Haiduk’s music sounds like …?
A roiling cauldron of dark rhythmic dissonant escalation of pure evil.

Which sort of mood produces the best songs?
Energetic and hyper! Bouncing off the walls. Comfortably stoned. Alone and no distractions.

Which instrument will surely NEVER be heard on a Haiduk-album?
Any fucking folk instrument. I always said folk metal is the shittiest thing in the world.

Which record would you want to listen to when you leave the bathroom in the morning, while the beautiful girl from last night is still in your bed?
Megadeth
Youthanasia. A very nostalgic album.

The Fairy-Godmother pops up in front of you and grants you a wish. What do you wish for?
I’d ask for more of whatever crazy hallucinogen I’m on that made me see her in the first place! That, and magic powers.

No alcohol is no solution either. What booze combination will definitely dissolve all your troubles and issues?
I’m drinking a whiskey & coke as I type this so I’ll go with that! I’m not picky with booze, anything alcoholic will dissolve my troubles.

What shows you that someone is a true friend?
When I am playing a show, and friends are going around the venue selling copies of my CD. Then when I’m done they hand me $ 100 for the albums they sold. Also friends who bring hot chicks to my shows.

Who was the hero of your childhood?
Dave Mustaine.

What is the most embarrassing/surprising record in your CD-shelf?
Probably that live Sum 41 album I stole from somewhere a long time ago. I don’t even listen to them, I guess I just like to steal CDs.

What’s next? Tour? Studio? Vacation? Something completely different?
Hmm, let’s see. Just did a year of writing riffs and arranging, then nine months recording guitars, followed by rehearsals and live shows … I think I’m gonna put my guitar in a corner and not even look at it for the next while. Right now it’s a lot of online promotion. And, of course, going out slaying chicks! As a solo project you tend to become agonizingly isolated from everything.
