Die Schweden-Deather Centinex melden sich nach einer achtjährigen Auszeit mit einem neuen Album zurück! Redeeming Filth, so der Titel des Comebacks, wird am 21. November 2014 über Agonia Records in den folgenden Formaten veröffentlicht: Digipack CD, Digital, schwarzes Vinyl, braunes Vinyl (auf 100 Stück limitiert, handnummeriert und mit Poster). Aufgenommen wurde der Nachfolger zu World Declension (2005) in den Amplified Studios, Mix und Mastering lagen in den Händen von Ronnie Björnström (Garageland Studios).
Einen ersten Vorgeschmack gibt es mit dem Song „When Bodies are Deformed“:
Centinex wurden 1990 gegründet und haben bisher acht Alben veröffentlicht. Mit Redeeming Filth wollen sie nun an den Spirit des Debüts Subconscious Lobotomy (1992) anknüpfen.
Statement von Bandgründer und Mastermind Martin Schulman: „We are thrilled to announce that Centinex have inked a deal with Agonia Records for the release of our new album. We as a band are very much looking forward to this cooperation as we feel that the label and the people behind it understand our artistic vision and what Centinex anno MMXIV is all about. Influenced and inspired by the early 90’s classic Florida-scene, „Redeeming Filth“ picks up the spirit from our 1992-debut „Subconscious Lobotomy“ and leads us back to the golden days of riff-oriented death metal. The future looks soaking brutal!“.
