Unsere neuste Bandvorstellung kommt aus dem Norden Europas. Die Finnin Heidi Parviainen, bekannt u.a. als ehemalige Sängerin von Amberian Dawn. Sie hat ihre Solokarriere gestartet – das Projekt heißt DarkSarah und wir haben mit ihr ein kleines Interview geführt.
Who is behind DarkSarah?
It is me. During the time when leaving Amberian Dawn I started to figure out what my new project would be like and started to imagine a story around the character in the first song written for DarkSarah. That was „Save me“. The woman in the story is called Sarah and in the Behind The Black Veil – album she finds her evil side persona Dark Sarah.

Dark Sarah´s music combines elements of metal music, film music, music theater and opera.
In my opinion the best songs capture the story also in the musical ways. And I also love when there is some humor too.
Which instrument will surely NEVER be heard on a DarkSarah-album?
There is no such thing! *smile*

I wish for a healthy and happy life (because that also includes music in any form).
No alcohol is no solution either. What booze combination will definitely dissolve all your troubles and issues?
I love red wine in a good company of friends where all the problems become less.
What shows you that someone is a true friend?
The ones who have stayed there for decades and know me from head to toes and the newer friends who spare a thought for me and keep in contact.
