Leaving nothing to dreams
Ich falle einfach mal mit der Tür ins Haus. Am 14. Mai wird das neue Doppelalbum Cold pills (Scarlete gate of toxic daybreak) von Kirlian Camera erscheinen. Damit feiern Elena Alice Fossi und Angelo Bergamini, die zwei Köpfe hinter der Band, ihr 40jähriges Bandjubiläum. Die Musiker um die beiden herum haben stets gewechselt, und im aktuellen Line-Up befinden sich zum einen Gitarrist Alessandro Comerio, außerdem Drummer bei Triumph of Death und Bassist bei Forgotten Tomb. Zum anderen ist die Bassistin Mia W. Wallace etwas überraschend zur Band gestoßen, die von der brasilianischen Band Nervosa und ihrer Arbeit mit Abbath bekannt ist. Experimente haben Kirlian Camera bekannterweise noch nie gescheut, man darf also auf das Album gespannt sein, das ihr bis dato düsterstes Werk sein soll. Die jüngst veröffentlichte Single „The 8th president“ ist der Vorbote dazu.
